I am currently a postdoctoral researcher working on interdisciplinary tasks that combine field sampling, advanced analytical methods, and data-driven approaches to understand contaminant dynamics and risk assessment in the Arctic. I have an international background and research experience in Italy, Spain, Svalbard, Canada, and Denmark. Beyond research, I am actively engaged in initiatives promoting polar science and networking opportunities for early career researchers.
My research investigates how contaminants behave in fragile Arctic ecosystems, where climate change accelerates their transport and impact. I study pathways and risks of persistent and emerging pollutants, focusing on interactions with snow, air, water, and biota. Through field sampling, advanced analytical techniques, and data-driven models, I work with international partners to generate knowledge that informs sustainable policies and protects vulnerable environments.
