The Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus
University invites applications for a 3-year assistant professorship in Sustainability and Environmental Psychology. The starting date is 1st June 2020 or subject to mutual agreement.

Job description
The assistant professorship is a position with research and teaching obligations. The position is connected to the new interdisciplinary Center for Integrative Business Psychology. Research of the Center will focus on four key topics – consumer behaviour; behavioural biases and nudging; business ethics; and sustainability. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the Center’s research, and to develop an innovative research program in the field of sustainability and environmental psychology in business contexts. It should be described in the application how the applicant will advance research activities in sustainability and environmental psychology in the business context.
The teaching part will be within the Department of Psychology and Behavioural Sciences. It should be described in the application how the applicant expects to contribute to teaching and educational activities, notably how the applicant will contribute to teaching in the field of business-psychology.

Your qualifications
The successful candidate is expected to participate on a regular basis in the department’s day-to-day activities (such as seminars, courses, workshops, etc.), to contribute to the development of the department’s study and learning environment as well as to supervise students. As the successful candidate is expected to participate in all of the department’s main activities, including examination and administration, a non-Danish speaking candidate is required to acquire the necessary Danish language skills within a short period (maximum 2 years).
The candidate must hold a master’s degree in psychology, or equivalent qualifications, and a PhD degree in psychology, or equivalent qualifications.
