Since 2024 I am head of department at The Department of Public Health. I am responsible for the strategic and daily management of both employees and activities within teaching, research, talent development and collaboration. Furthermore, I am a professor of comparative public health policy and hold a PhD in political science.
As head of department I am responsible for the strategic development and daily management of Department of Public Health. In my research I explore healthcare policy dynamics, policy and institutional reform, and the role of democratic politics in shaping public health initiatives. In addition, my research spans comparative studies of education, labor and tax policy. Current and upcoming projects address privatization’s impact on healthcare inequality, policy tool selection in public health, and AI's role in policy responsiveness. My work is published in leading scientific journals.
