I hold a PhD degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, and I have experience with a wide range of research techniques, in-vivo work and teaching. As a postdoctoral fellow, I have previously conducted CRISPR-based in-vivo research on breast cancer, alongside teaching, and I am currently working on obesity. I am particularly interested in investigating the role of estrogen in triglyceride accumulation in the adipose tissue.
As a postdoc, my primary area of responsibility is independent research, including manuscript writing, dissemination of research findings at meetings and conferences, contribution towards attracting external research funding and guidance and training of BS, MS and PhD students. My role may also involve teaching assignments.
