Research in the comparative immunology group harnesses cutting-edge cellular, molecular, clinical and computational approaches to decode how diverse immune systems have evolved and function under real-world pressures. Our current projects illuminate adaptive immunity to viral zoonoses (including Influenza and African Swine Fever), unravel the intricacies of immunometabolism, and advance in silico modeling of complex immune networks—advancing fundamental understanding while addressing critical global health challenges.
