New PhD Course: Academic Freedom and the Gendered Aspects of De-democratization
Policy Futures is pleased to announce a new PhD training school, "Academic Freedom and the Gendered Aspects of De-democratization: Hope and Care for ‘the Otherwise’."
The course explores the intersections of academic freedom, geopolitics, gender, and democratic change, supporting participants in navigating politically contested research fields and reflecting on the conditions for knowledge production in turbulent times.
The PhD training school is aimed primarily at OPEN Early Career Scholars (ECS) and members, who will receive an invitation and further information in the autumn. The course is also open to non-members, the reimbursement is however only available to Early Career Scholars and members of the OPEN COST Action.
We look forward to sharing more details later this year.
