OPEN COST Action annual management committee meeting
In connection with the 2nd Annual Conference at the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen, the OPEN COST Action management committee had their second meeting
On April 28th, the OPEN COST Action management committee met for their annual meeting of 2025. The management committee is made up of representatives from 39 different COST-member countries, with backgrounds spanning a wide range of academic disciplines.
Today’s meeting only reinforced that the management committee’s greatest strength comes from its great diversity of nationalities and disciplinary perspectives, and that this diversity is crucial to supporting the aim of the OPEN Action.
Among the many important things discussed at the meeting were the success of last year’s Short Term Scientific Mission (STSM) grants, this year’s upcoming STSM and ITC Conference grants, OPEN’s new gender equality plan, and updates on the scientific work done by the COST Action’s four working groups.
